Has anyone used Blue Chip Original on their horses? I'm looking at giving it to my mare but heard some good and bad reviews! It seems a little on the expensive side at £40

Shes out of condition due to an injury last august, and is also an ex broodmare so has a rather large tummy. The vet suspects her age to be between 25 and 28.

PS sorry if the pictures come out too big, i dont know how to resize them! :o

I feed mine on blue chip, doesn't fizz them up and keeps them in good condition. Although expensive you don't use much so lasts a long time and doesn't work out much more than other feeds. Pretty sure I have a testimonial on the website with some before and after pics of my poor doer.

I'm half way through my first bag so a bit early for a verdict. My horse is looking and feeling well though, she's 16 , in reasonable work and fed only BC and hay now. I was feeding nuts and other supplements before and decided I wanted something simpler!

TBH I love it. I order it online direct from blue chip and order a few bags at a time to get discount, and then collect the points to get a free bag, and get points off friends too. It work out quite a bit cheaper than £40 a bag this way.
Prefer it to Top-spec etc as it molasses free etc.

I use it on my 4 year old and she has really gained a beautiful shiny coat on it - we are only 1/4 through 2nd bag but she seems to look really well on it

I used it on my other horse as well and he had a fabulous coat and condition - I think it's great, expensive but worth it:)

I've also had brilliant results with it and as others have said you use it in small quantities so it lasts a long time. Would definitely reccomend.

I've used Blue Chip in the past, don't use it now as my horses don't need it. I did however change to a different balancer which was a fraction of the price & got the same results. I just think it's vastly overpriced when there are a variety of alternatives on the market.

I found that Blue Chip caused my old Arab to be even more fizzy than usual! I changed him to Top Spec Senior and he was generally calmer. With both, he looked and felt very well.
