public display is Saturday, but im sure people will have home displays the days surrounding as usual, there arent too many though as i live in a small quiet village

I sat out in my car at the yard once I had done the teas and night rugs Fri and Sat till 9pm and only heard a couple of fireworks in the distance.

Thurs it is going to be like WW3 for my horses as the field neighbour is having his annual display and the local pub is also having their display.

I have spoken to the field neighbour tonight as last year he launched his fireworks from the other side of the hedge to my field (his field borders 2 side of mine) so they went off right next to the horses. This year he has promised to let them off over the other side of his field.

Can't wait for it to be over already!!

Totally agree....on the night only done and dusted for all the animals...

I think all of ours like the fireworks! We live on a Country Estate and the old House is a Country House Hotel and they have fireworks all the time after weddings etc and they are usually spectacular and its less then a mile away - the neds just stand watching them!!

On fireworks night we can see fireworks going off from 6 or 7 different villages and the neds just ignore them!!

Thankfully this year we haven't had as many as normal, they would usually be going off every night for a least a week before now and we have only had one or two nights and only lasting a few minutes rather than half the night. We haven't even had the morons who let them off during the day around this year either

Our local display is on thurs, generally get some let off on a friday and quite a lot on saturday.
I am hoping this year will continue to be quiet as I have found out one of mine hates them.
