Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone could recommend a good book that explains basic schooling / flatwork. I ride at a riding school once a fortnight and find that my memory is appauling (sp) and even if we do an exercise, the next time we do it I totally forget what aides I'm supposed to use - this especially happens with lateral work, I forget which leg and hand is supposed to go where. I'm sure my instructor is sick of explaining stuff again and again. I thought if I could read up on this between my lessons it might help.
So really I'm looking for a book with clear descriptions of flatwork movements - more training the rider than schooling the horse if you like. Any recommendations welcome!
Cheers
