How does the GA time compare between the 2 methods, a good friend lost a young bitch whilst being spayed at the end of last year and that is preying on my mind a bit 😟
Can I be cheeky and ask your thoughts on how close to the next spay you would consider reasonable to spay ? As in my earlier post timing is a bit of a problem

Surgeon dependant but open surgery is inevitably faster than lap. Timing is again surgeon dependant, some will spay while in season if needed (usually rescue/welfare type situations). Usually I want 8 weeks after or before if possible.
