Looking for recommendations on boots good for both schooling and hacking.
And reviews on the le mieux schooling boot if anyone has used those?
Thanks

I like the shires arma air motion ones. Cheap, wear well and their legs don’t get as hot under them.

I like Le Mieux, I use the ones that are called Mesh Brushing boot. They’re easy to clean and dry quickly if they get wet. And also because of the mesh they do let some air through which is normally my main issue with leg protection. The ProShell would be my second choice (and I might buy them the next time).

I also have the Pro Sport boot, but don’t recommend it much.

Legacy brushing boots are my favourites. They fit better than my woof boots, have three straps which makes fastening easier as you can close the middle one first and they last for years. Lots of colours too.

My favourites are the NEW orthopaedic foam and the Trizone Allsports. Both are lightweight and don’t go soggy, so you can hose them off and drip dry easily.

I keep going back to my equilibrium stretch and flex. I've purchased loads of different boots recently and consequently sent them back or sold them on as they have rubbed / sizing is bonkers / slip so returned to using old faithfuls.

What are you looking for them to do - does your horse brush or do you just need general protection, are you looking for support?

I use the Le Mieux mesh brushing boots for schooling and jumping. Highly recommend I’ve had them a few years and use almost daily. For hacking I have Woof Wear hi viz
