So I have a real problem that my short paddock boots never last more than about 5-6 months. I wear them every day, all day, but don't do mucking out or anything like that.
I ride in them with half chaps and wear them for teaching. Some arenas are very wet at times and they do get muddy when walking the dog or catching horses if I forget to change into my muck boots.
I keep them regulaly cleaned and follow the manufactures recommendations for care.
Can anyone out there give me a recommendation for some that might actually last a bit longer?
I have tried cheap ones, expensive ones, in-betweeney ones but they all give up the ghost after a short space of time!!
I have used equitectors, ariats (though admittedly not the very expensive ones), treadsteps, fellini, kieffer, toggi etc
I don't like mountain horse ones as they are too 'clumpy' in the soles.
Is it really worth paying top whack for the ariat performer pro? Will they seriously last any longer? Mine always start to split where the crease is where your toes join your foot.
So anyone out there in the same situation ie riding and teaching all day, every day, let me know what you wear and how long you expect them to last.
Thanks.
