Boots - recommendations for thin skinned TB?!

So my boys brushing boots are really starting to rub the hair away on his legs. He currently has a pair of Woof boots and a pair of the Shires Jo boots.

We've had lots of problems with the skin on his legs (v sensitive)... Can anyone recommend some boots?

My TB is very thin skinned and does brush slightly behind so needs boots of some description. The only thing i have found that doesnt rub at all are Yorkshire Boots (very old fashioned made of material). Got them from my local saddlers who is also very old fashioned for about £7 but you could knock them up if you have a sewing machine.

I do have the premier equine Kevlar ones for long hacks, faster work and where i know its going to be muddy/wet etc which do ok but they will rub if worn too regularly. Woofwear, New, trizone and tekna all makes which rubbed my boy. You could try the fleece lined ones but i worry about overheating tendons etc so not my choice.

Thanks. I was thinking of trying the clarendon boots with the fleecy inside, but like you say I worry abot overheating. I don't really need boots for brushing, he just tends to catch himself here and there (usually when doing somehting silly) but brushing boots provide adequate protection from this.
 
I think there were a few suggestions earlier on in the thread (stretch and flex wraps, equilibrium brushing boots, any boots with sheepskin!)

Alternatively I use the Premier Equine sports boots on my WBxTB they are excellent!
 
If he has very sensitive legs I'd recommend equilibriums stretch and flex wraps.

I had 2 sets for my TB, so I could always have clean fresh bandages on every time I rode him. Keeping them clean is vital.
