Bossy's bibs - do they work?

Having now started my clipathon for this year, I've had to start rugging my horse. Last year was my most successful yet for keeping virtually all of her mane but she did get slightly bald shoulders. I am thinking of buying a bib to use under her rugs this year.

Has anyone used bossy's bibs before? I gather they are good at preventing shoulder rubs but am concerned about having another potential rubbing area on her mane. Would be grateful for any info!

Used one for years with my old horse-and am about to order a new one for the youngster...wouldn't use anything else!

Oh thanks - I take it they haven't rubbed your horse's mane?

Didn't with the big fella-he was 17.2 though so didn't really go as far as his mane, other than where the rugs cover the mane at the withers anyway. Had more of an issue with neck covers rubbing his mane!

Yes and they really do work.

Def recommend as well! They have been the only ones to save M from having rubbed shoulders.

Yep but you have to wash them really regularly for them to work if you have a scurfy horse
