I ordered some fillers off of eBay for our PC. I thought they would be fab as they are only 30cm high so would be great for the mini kids :)

Anyway, they came this morning (took 2 weeks instead of the 5 days I paid for) & I don't know if I'm being too picky or not but I'm quite disappointed.

This is what I thought they would be like ...

& this is what they actually look like......

They do measure what they say in the ad (so obviously they don't measure that on the advert picture) but I'm more concerned about the position of the leg being in the middle & not at the end.

I don't know if I'm just being a bit too picky but to me they don't seem as described  I've messaged the seller just saying I'm a little disappointed. I've never left anything but positive feedback on eBay!

I'd really appreciate someone else's thoughts please!

On the original picture the leg is below the bow on the tail. On yours, it is much further forward! Also in the original photograph it looks stretched. How did they describe where the leg was? Or didn't they? On the original it looks much safer as you could jump them side by side

That's just my thoughts! I know my pic is at a slight angle (to show the leg) but they just look kind of squished up to what they do on the ad photo. The ad just says '2 feet per section & bolts included'.

Well there is only 1 foot per section & its smack bang in the middle :(

Send it back for a replacement!

No, wouldn't be happy. Those are not as advertised, the feet were coming out of the bow on the picture, at the side of the filler, not in the middle of the belly. Also the angle of the back is totally different - much steeper, making them narrower. I would be returning them - they are dangerous because of where the feet are.

No not moveable at all. They fasten up the back of the filler with a bolt.

That's my main concern, the legs being in the middle & so stuck far out! At least if its at the end it is out of the way of a small pony's legs!

Oh sorry, I didn't explain well! They are made of a plastic type thing, so the leg slots into a groove then bolt up the back.

I could move the leg to the end but would have to cut a groove in the filler to do so, so not a simple job :(

Infact, looking closer I couldn't do that either as the back of the leg is much taller than the end of the filler is (you can see the bolt high up in the middle of the filler on the pic )

I think you should send them back. I don't think they are useable like that and they are not what they look like in the picture. What a pain :(.

Yep I think so too. I'm just glad I didn't tell the kids I'd ordered them some. It was supposed to be a nice surprise for our first rally on Sunday :(

Have you contacted the seller to advise they are not as described? If so and they decline to allow you to return them (at their expense) for a full refund, open a dispute with ebay - item not as described. They always seem to find in favour of the buyer and will instruct the seller to refund your money - I was on the selling side of that and my item WAS fine but ebay still found in favour of the buyer (until I kicked up a fuss ;))

Thanks Jill. I've sent the seller a message just explaining that I'm concerned about the position of the foot not being safe or as described. The fillers themselves don't actually look too bad, its just the bloomin feet on them I'm uncomfortable with :(

My riding club bought a few complete jumps and one of them was the Eyeore one with the fillers. The fillers are like the original picture. Much better looking than the ones you have received. They were not bought from Ebay though. Bargain Jumps was the company I believe.

I think Bargain jumps sell through ebay but [if I remember correctly] they are in fact cheaper through their website.
We looked at them for a Xmas present but in the end bought my Grand daughter gymkhana equipment.
I would be asking if they think they are safe and why the leg is not in the correct place as in photo. I wouldn't be happy to use them

It's bargain jumps I got them off (well that's what it says on their ebay ad & its their ebay name!) When I messaged them last week to find out where they were I was told her business partner had upped & left hence the delay. No excuse for them not being as describes though :(

I sell and buy quite a bit on ebay and the best thing is to open a dispute. 99% of the time it goes the buyers way (which is irritating at times as a seller!) but they've advertised a product that bears little resemblance to the one they've supplied you with. The positioning of the feet is downright dangerous.

Ask for full refund inc p&p (you're v unlikely to recover the postage it costs you to return them).

She charged me £8.50 delivery so if that's what its going to cost me to send back I'm going to be even more gutted if I have to fork that out myself :(

I checked feedback beforehand too. 100% positive. I'm very p'd off :(

The feet look much more flimsy than in the advert too, I'm not surprised you are disappointed!! Be interested to hear what is said..

I have dealt with Bargain Jumps before buying jumps for myself and also my RC and they have always been more than helpful. The only issue is that with the wood jumps, you have to wait for the order to be put together depending on how busy they are. But if a business partner has left.... things may not be normal but I suspect they get the plastic fillers from somewhere so I would give them a call and I am sure she will sort it out.

They have replied stating that the photo used in the ad shows fillers of a different size to what i ordered (it didn't state that in the ad description though :( ) I've asked if they can send some safer feet, if not then I'm afraid they'll have to either refund me or it'll be a dispute.

Defo open a dispute - that's not safe for little 'uns. Good luck with resolving it.

They are mega cute in the original photo btw.

Why would anyone assume that, with the 'foot' placed where it is, be safe? Naughty little 12h pony wants to go back to the gate and deposits rider slap bang onto the foot? I've never seen anything like it!
Clearly not as described, and I would be kicking up a bit of a fuss. AND the cost of postage for 5 days, not 2 weeks!

Adding to the consensus - not as described therefore return/open a dispute.

I've actually seen the exact ones that are in the photo. I don't know if they are earlier models made by the same company or originals made by someone else your sellers have knocked off, but they look nothing like the one in your photo.

I know it's not the point of the thread but as a note to anyone else looking, I thought those fillers looked really cute, easy to move etc but I went back to the yard a few weeks later and someone had fallen on them and smashed them up. I was a bit alarmed as they'd broken into jagged edges and to an unusable and unmendable state from what was, as reported, a minor incident of someone getting tipped off the front of a stopped pony. :(

Wow thanks for that Tarrsteps.

Not heard anything else from them yet. I'm going to request a full refund. What do you think the chances are of them paying for the return postage too?

Sorry, they are cute but I am not easily alarmed and I couldn't believe people were still jumping the smashed up bits. (Why there were doing that is anyone's guess!)

I have no idea re return . . I am allergic to ebay! There are quite a few people on here who do a lot of business on it - perhaps worth an ask in Soapbox (or whatever) to see if anyone has personal experience.
