Following on from my post a couple of months ago regarding the search for a cocker pup, and months of discussion and looking....

It's official, I'm getting a puppy :Biggrin3: :biggrin3: *bounce bounce*

Went to visit a breeder tonight, choice of 3 litters but this little girl is the one I'll be bringing home....

Soooooo excited :biggrin3: :biggrin3:

ooooh lovely!!!!! i have a friend who used to breed Cockers and i often wish i had had one from her , i thought they were gorgeous little dogs and i loved their characters. how exciting for you, best of luck to you both! xx

It's quite scary as well as exciting!! It's our first puppy in nearly 18 years (and I was only 10 then so it wasn't really my responsibility!) so it's going to be a big learning curve I'm sure but I'm determined to do a good job!

Aaaah what a cutie. I have a soft spot for cockers, aramis was my favourite in dogtanian and the three muskehounds! I'd like one but OH won't have anything except gsds. Cockers are so cuddly, everyone loves them. A guy in work has one called sir sooty socks, and he sounds so easy to manage compared to a roving gsd pup on a mission to destroy and avoid cuddles!

She's gorgeous! My aunt used to have a cocker spaniel, years ago, she rehomed an ex-breeding bitch - a lovely dog, tail never stopped wagging.
Have you thought about names for her?

I've had the name Jasmine (Jazz for short) in my mind for months but I'm not 100% sure if that's what we'll call so am open to suggestions :)

How exciting. Naming dogs is a funny thing. Our Chloe was due to be called Izzy, from the day we chose her til the day we collected her, she was known as Izzy Wizzy. However, for some reason, she just didn't look like an Izzy when we got her home. We spent 2 days trying to come up with a name which suited her and she is such a "Chloe", its just perfect for her.

OP did you say you had the choice of 3 litters or did you mean 3 pups in the litter, I wouldnt touch any breeder knocking out 3 litters at once however cute the pups were.
