Breeches shopping help!!

Sorry to jump in on this thread. The breeches sound lovely and I'd love to try a Pikeur if I can find a bargain at some point, but I can never work out their sizing.
Is there a chart somewhere of the UK equivalent, or can anyone give me a rough guide for sizes 6-10 please? Do they tend to be accurately sized?
My Pikeurs are a size 26 and I was a regular size 10.

If I remember rightly the 40/26 equates to a 10, and the 42/28 a 12, but they can come up a little small.

Will measure my multiple pairs later for you :)

The bit about the longer lengths is beginning to fry my brain <g> why not just have a size plus leg length <mutter mutter>

Thanks for the reminder. My pair of 84 Candelas are equivalent to 32". The Pikeur size guide would say they're a 14 UK sizes wise, but they're definitely a 12!
