I will start......

"COLOURED VISION" - Yearling colt by MFS Vision (out of a Dixi mare) has done exceptionally well so far in 2008.

He has won or been placed 2nd in all his outings, with three Reserve Championships under his belt. At yesterdays Royal Highland Show he was 2nd out of 17 yearlings judged by Birgitta Laarson from Sweden (ex Flyinge Stud). He also came 2nd at Angus Show.

He was also awarded a 1st Premium in September 2007 by Dutch judges from Holland at the SSH Gradings.

Homebred 4 yo Tikkabilla Mill by Mill Law won her first Burghley Young Event Horse Qualifier so now looking forward to the final
Homebred 4 yo Sugar Shack Mill by Mill Law finished 3rd in her first BE Young Horse Qualifier, qualifying for that final at Tweseldown in October, not managed to get her qualified for the BYEH Champ yet but she has been in the top ten at three qualifiers
Mills Red Stryker by Mill Law owned by Kylie Roddick has won all of his Intros this year and placed in his first two PN events, double clear every time out.
Maxi Million (full sister to Tikkabilla Mill) was Champion Sport Horse at Newark and Reserve Champion at Leicester County, their dam who is an Advanced Event mare by Jumbo won the broodmare class at Bramham
Chuffed with the homebreds, but also nice to see other peoples horses by Mill Law are doing so well

Just had to put Diamond Spectical forward, he is such a special little boy for us and the first baby we ever bred, heres hoping all the others follow in his footsteps.

Well, I didn't actually breed her, but zoeshiloh's Ayemkay Emae is by my stallion H Tobago, so I hope it's OK for me to bask in reflected glory?!

Despite being 50% Arab, and recognised as such by most judges, Emae won the Sport Horse Foal class at Suffolk County show, and the Hunter Foal class at the Royal Norfolk - in both cases with top judges commenting on her 'faultless conformation' and 'incredible movement'! These were both big and very strong classes, so I am very proud of Emae.

But actually all the credit goes to Zoe (zoeshiloh on here) both for breeding Emae in the first place and for producing and showing her so beautifully.

It was very brave and innovative of Zoe to breed her superb champion TB x ID sport-horse mare Evy (Ayemkay Evin Star) to a 3yo pure-bred show-Arab! Her choice of stallion caused quite a few raised eyebrows, but she stood by her decision - and her critics are now eating humble pie!

I am so grateful to Zoe for sending Tobago such a splendid mare in his first season at stud. Little Emae is already causing quite a bit of discussion about the role of Arab blood in sport-horse breeding, and more breeders are now inclined to think of the F1 first cross to a pure-bred Arab as a serious sport-horse in its own right, not just a 'means to an end' for producing sport-horses in the second or third generation.

And judging by the stud enquiries and bookings I've been receiving, quite a few of them are seriously considering Tobago as a potential sire of sport horses! So - thank you Zoe and Emae!

(Apologies to those who already know all this from other posts here and there, but I just thought it would be nice to have Emae's story in the official Chuff Chart'!

Just wanted to say what a great idea this thread is! It's so nice to have a special place to celebrate the achievements of our 'HHO babies'.

I love reading these happy posts about other HHO breeders' successes with their beautiful and talented horses- they always cheer me up!

Please everybody post some more - doesn't have to be specifically big show wins; smaller achievements can be just as interesting, or more general ones: anything that you feel chuffed about. I think that was the idea wasn't it Anastasia?

Congratulations to SW I see her homebred 4yo Coopers Law, by Mill Law, won the BE 4yo Qualifier at Stafford Horse Trials today, she must be delighted, roll on the final in October

Thank you millsandboon!!! Very pleased and the fact that Millie also won her 5yo qualifier and is going means we have two homebred babies going to the British Breeding Champs now!!

Now on a real mission to qualify for BYEH final too!!

Wow! Well done! To qualify even one would be a major achievement, but two is amazing!

Good luck at the Championships and good luck qualifying for BYEH!

Do you have any photos of these paragons that you could post here? I'd love to see them!

Thank you!! Pics not a prob!!

1/2 brother and sister @ Stafford Horse Trials where Spider (bay 4yo by Mill Law won his qualifier) and Millie (grey 5yo by Shipley Diamond was 2nd in PN)

Our 2 first homebreds presented to the Plumpton futurity this year.
The Cullinan Diamond (by Caretino Glory and out of an Able Albert event mare) - First Premium in the eventing yearling section and highest scoring eventing yearling of the day! Can see him here: http://www.greenlees-equine.com/portfolio36825.html

Esquimaux (By El Thuder and out of a Beachtime/Sussex Diamond/Arctic Que mare) - First premium in the eventing colt foals section and 2nd highest scoring in his section for the day. He also got a 2nd Premium as a SJer - very funny when you consider on paper he should be a jumper! Can see him here: http://www.greenlees-equine.com/portfolio36816.html

Both of these guys are first foals for their dams as well, so not a bad introduction to breeding I think!

My home bred stallion has qualified for the BD National Championships. He didn't start competing till May as I had been unable to find anywhere near Ulrik to collect from him so he had to stand at stud each year and didn't get the chance to compete. Fortunately this year Ulrik let me put a dummy at his yard and Jamie collected from him all season. Big thank you to Jamie for his excellent service.
It's so exciting for me to see the foal I bred out there doing what he was bred to do!

BEF 1st Premium:
Say N'Mour SFS Old colt by San Amour x Sarancha (Lord Sinclair x Sandro)

BEF 1st Premium, Champion Dressage foal and Reserve Champion Dressage Horse at BEF Elite Championships:

He is by Tracy X (BWP-approved anglo arab), out of Woodlark, by Athelstan (unregistered 75% TB 25% Clydesdale). Woodlark was out of Kendal Caprice, my mum's 15hh eventer who she rode half way round Burghley (till they both went under at the trout hatchery), who was by Night Thought (TB), out her TB x Exmoor pony.....

I would say that is a fantastic achievment, very well done

they look very big jumps to me !!! lovely horse

I wish you further success for the future:)

Gosh - congratulations everyone! What a talented lot of horses we have on HHO!

I forgot to add my boy H Tobago's latest triumph!

His firstborn foal, a pure-bred Arab colt, was this year's British National Champion Foal at the national Arab show back in July!

To sire the national champion foal is the highest possible achievement for a first-season Arab stallion, so I am very proud of Tobago - especially as he did this with no mares of his own, having to rely entirely on whatever outside mares he could attract, as a first-season 3yo stallion!

This is the colt, Poseidon - winning the national championship at his very first show:

poseidontrotmalvern.jpg

This is the first ever British National Champion Arab to be sired by a one-horse-owner stallion - a victory for the 'little people'!

TigersEye thats a fab result!!! Htobago he just keeps getting better and better results doesnt he?!

My Mill Law 4yo went to do another 4yo intro at Burnham Market at the weekend and won!!! He has now done 3 intros, 3 double clears and 2 wins!!

Wow sw - those are impressive results! What's his damline?

Thanks for the kind thoughts about my boy - but compared to yours... My 4yo is only being backed, and yours is already out there eventing and winning everything!

Thats superb, what an amazing set of results. I can only hope my Mill Law baby turns out that well!

htobago -he's out of an Irish Sports Horse mare by Kildalton Gold (RID) who is by Merry Gold out of Kildalton Countess (Ben Purple) and out of Quarter Blossom (Teaspoon TB).

His half sister who is 5yo by Shipley Diamond has also qualified for the 5yo BE Champs and now has 8 points having come 4th and 2nd in her 2 novice outings!

Here's pics of our Fionn (The Cullinan Diamond) at the BYEH Finals, Yearling In-Hand class at Tweseldown, where he was pulled in first, and won Best Colt and Best British Bred .... We are sooooo thrilled, as he is the first that we bred, and probably got it right rather more by luck than judgement at that point!! (I'm afraid that a number of pics have had to be censored, as he's just discovered that he's a stallion, and the fifth leg was very much in evidence!!!

He is by Caretino Glory out of an ISh mare, x Able Albert xx Diamond Lad.
