Hi All, I know this question has been asked a million times. I'm looking for a recommendation for a nice bridle for my new mare. She has quite a generously proportioned head and large ears and seems to be prone to the odd rub on her face so I'd like something soft.

Looking for a dressage style, no flash, preferably no crank, well cut back round the ears. Open to anatomical options that avoid facial nerves etc but would prefer not to have a drop style noseband as we tried a drop and madam said no!

Budget is under £180.

Like the idea of a bit of bling, patent and white piping where poss but priority is soft and comfortable.

Thank you. :)

My bestest buys have been Sabre, I have a Cordoba that's been in very regular use for years and years and years and still looks and feels like new. They might not be modern enough in terms of shaping for you but they do have a comfort poll option and endless choices of noseband etc plus you can buy different sized bits to fit.

I have also got bits of FSS tack from eBay which I'm pleased with esp for the price, and which allowed me to indulge my weakness for a bit of patent :o soft and padded and decent quality for the price. I bought a BR bridle from Morgan Equine for Salty last year (think equiture also sell them) which isn't quite as nice I don't think (but I DO love the single row blingy browband :D)

I use CK Equine, who are back up and running :).

Also used BR and various others with success, but love that CK are English leather and a fantastic price for the quality.
