Bright WHITE feather - with no effort!!

Just a pondering, I wonder if Johnsons baby bath oil stuff works the same, cos that's great for getting mucky bits off mucky bodies :D

For fly spry:

In a spray bottle combine:
4oz. Avon SSS
1 cup of vinegar (white or apple cider)
30-40 drops of citronella oil

Then fill the rest of the bottle with water, and shake before each use.

Excellent. I wonder if it will work on a whole pony :D

slightly off topic...

Is the pen your horse is in in the first photo an old silo?

We have one at the farm which hasn't been used in years and that has just given me a brilliant idea to convert it to a lunging pen :D

I've been on a yard where an old Silo was converted to a lunging pen and thought what a good idea it was.

It's available in my current Avon book and even better is on a 2 for 1 deal. Bottles ordered to try this one out.

Possibly, not too sure if I'm honest! Whatever it is, it works well as a lunging pen, but the echoes in there from the metal walls can be a tad disorientating!

Am resurrecting this thread to RAVE!

The feathers are vaguely clean, he's been out so not perfect, but the mud fever, persistent, chronic, has pretty much gone in two days!! I took off some scabs yesterday, clean underneath, unbelievable!

Thank you to the OP for suggesting this stuff, even tho he nearly kicked my head in as he's not fond of having his legs massaged!

OP your horse is lovely btw and thank you for the tip about the feathers :)
I have heard about this stuff as a fly repellant and have used it on myself and horses for that.
Will get some more to try on my lads legs though now :)
Another source of where to buy from is check out your markets, car boots etc.
I bought some from a car boot sale a couple of years ago. They had a few Avon products for sale. Not sure if they had been a representative in the past or whether there are other sources in which to buy this from anyway, besides Avon?
