British Eventing Question

Please can someone tell me what FP means (as in Total FP under total points). I can see it on some records and have no idea what this is about?!

foundation points. There has been a long debate about these - they are awarded at the levels below Novice.

They were new for this year so that's prob why you hadn't heard of them.
