I am riding a 15.2 medium-heavy cob and struggling to get some front boots! Either brushing or tendon.

I bought some legacy brushing boots, size 2 would not go round his legs, size 3 did, but were too tall for him!

Tried a pair of premier equine tendon boots size large from a friend and again, height ok but they did not go round.

I see woof wear do some medium extra wide, so maybe that would be best!

If anyone with a feathered cob is using some tendon boots, could you let me know which ones?!

But does your horse acutally need them? Does he brush or injure his legs when he works? Has he had tendon problems or have you got reason to think that he might.

In my exeprience horses with a good amount of bone and feather rarely need any kind of boots (apart from reflective ones on the roads), they tend to be types who look after themselves. If he does have problems that mean he needs boots then I'm afraid I don't know of any makes that do the short/wide variety, I've had the same problem getting hold of some in the past.
