She’s a big, sports bred warmblood who can just occasionally head sideways at speed when something spooks her and then get upset if her rider becomes unbalanced because “OMG SOMETHING IS CLEARLY EATING MUM!!!!”. I’m a late middle aged tiny lady who wishes she wouldn’t.
 
I’m thinking to try it in my mare as some of ladies at the yard had good results, we are currently on no more moods by equine America which works really well on hormonal levels and season, heat issues, however I still haven’t found anything that would prevent from spooking, had anyone used buck off along other hormonal control supplements? I don’t want to over do it
 
I saw this post when I was thinking of trying it with a large lively teenage warmblood mare I have.

I too think most of the products are tosh.

I took the plunge and thought she was slightly better on it....ran out didn't think it helped that much, two weeks later, realised that she was LOADS better on it and just got some more!

Sometimes it happens so subtly that we don't notice until they revert, I won't be going without it while competing again put it that way!
 
Yes agree, it did the same and was amazed at how much worse she was when I ran out. I also find that if I increase the dose she gets very dopey, so I then reduce it. It doesn't solve all our problems, but it definitely helps.
