Just reading Flint's post in SB got me wondering!! (Doen't take much!)
OK so said person that had Flint & selling him said she had, had him for 6 yrs but wasn't even 6mnths.
My question is, on the Passports does it not say the date of transactions with previous owners??
So first owner would be breeder from day one to lets say 3yr old.
So lets say foal born 1/2/02 They would have 1/2/02 -10/4/05 on the passport
Then someone els bought the horse started it & had it for 4 years competing & what not then sold on to start another youngster.
So next to their name would be 10/4/05-20/6/09.
Least this way you know how long the horse was with the individual people & that it's not on a yard with a revolving door or have an idea if it has been through lots of peeps in short spaces of time??
Well done if you can understand what I have written! & forgive me if this does already happen with passports!
But would it not make more sence for them to carry the length of time they were with each "owner"???
