I'm 5' and was about 10st last time I weighed myself (which was a good while ago now!)

This mare is an NF and between 12.2 and 13h (haven't measured her yet)

This is one has a height cert for 148cm so is probably nearer 14.3 and I think I look fairly small on him.

I am 5ft8 and have a 14.2 cob. I bought her unseen and was told she was 15.1. She is a 6ft3/6 rug and I think I look better on her than my previous 15.1 welsh who was a 5ft9 rug. Mine is only rising 6 so hoping she will mature a bit as well.

Also bringing on a 13.1 welsh for my daughter.

5'7 - 5'8 on a 13.1. He was my first pony, we bought him when he was 9 and I rode him regularly until he was 22 and started to struggle with his breathing during the summer (many allergies unfortunately!)
He was never lame, and had regular back checks and never had a problem.
He's now lightly ridden by a friend's young niece and hardly notices she's there!

Me & My 13.1. I kept her through juniors and did a year of seniors on her. I am 5'2-3ish.

Admittedly, I did just keep oiking my stirrups up!

I'm 5ft1/2 and around 8 stone and up until last week (when she retired) I rode my very fine 12.2hh section B and she had no problem galloping off with me!

I have no problem riding my 14hh Registered NF. Im 5ft 2ins (ish) and have very stubby legs. I weight 9st11lb. Doesnt stop him being an absolute @rse though lol

This is me, 5ft 5 on my 14.1 pony. He's very lightweight as he's an Arab x but I don't think I look too big on him

He is identical to mine! exactly the same colour / height, What is his breeding? Mine is by an arab called Master Chance and is from the Pantywaun Stud

I'm 5'2/3 and I think I look about right on my chunky 14hh New Forest, she can easily take someone taller that me though as she is very deep in the barrel and really takes up the leg. I also have a 13.2 youngster (nearer 13.3 behind as bum high again) but she is NF x riding pony so slightly finer and no where near as deep. I have sat on her a few times and she feels tiny in comparison so I'm keeping my fingers firmly crossed that she grows and fills out a bit more or I think I will be too big for her

I'm not sure anything would stop my little NF being an @rse! There's something wrong if she's not being an absolute devil

I'm 5'3" and have a 14.3hh Crabbet arab, feel absolutely fine on her. Good job really, having bred her there wasn't much choice on the size she finished!

I'm 5'7 and have a 13.1hh New Forest x. He is deep barralled and stocky so I don't feel big on him, we do everything I do with my two big girls. He is supe quick too. Would post pics but no idea how to.

I'm 5'5 and used to ride a 12.2 when I was a lot lighter! My mare is 14.2. I personally don't like riding anything much bigger than 14.2. You will be fine!

I'm sixteen, but I am a pony squisher! I'm 5'4 and 8 and a half stone. This is my 12.3hh Exmoor x Welsh Section C. She is quite chunky and does have a deep and wide barrel, despite her funny conformation.

This is my 14.1hh cob gelding. He is built like a small armoured tank.

I'm just going to say now nice it is to see all these lovely pics with adults riding ponies, thus proving that anyone over 16 doesn't HAVE to ride a horse. It's perfectly alright to have fun on something pint sized and be closer to the ground!

I used to work my livery clients pony, was so much fun! Although, I did get broncked off a pony... oh the shame
