CALMERS!! Nupafeed or Horse First, Relax Me?

What are people opinions on both of these calmers? I've used Nupafeed before and think it worked well but I'm always sceptical that it's just a coincidence with these calmers. Have heard good reviews of Horse First Relax Me but never used it myself. Which would you go for??

I agree, unless you know your horse to be mag deficient then I think most of these calmers are a placebo product for the owner.

Stepfree worked for mine. I'd tried most on the market mostly mag based and they didn't work. Valerian had a mild effect as did steady up which has it in

Thanks Goldenstar - However I think that's actually the cause of the problem.
We unfortunately do not have turnout through the winter, so she is exercised every day is is feeling very fit and well. Probably a lot fitter than she is in the summer with turnout.
She is fine to ride during the week however it's the show atmosphere that sets her off. It's like excitement/anxiety overload and goes into a frenzy in the ring.

I am sure this is very true and I've often thought the same myself, but it doesn't really matter if it has the desired effect!
