Can horses eat carrot peelings

As the title really, my friend works as a chef and kindly saved me a load of carrot peelings, as our grazing is pants i was going to scatter them over the paddock, would this be ok?

I work in a kitchen and do this exact thing at least twice a week. Keep the tops and tails, too!

Cool thanks, stupid numpty question, as they are just peelings as opposed to full carrots how much would be too much, does a light scattering over the paddock sound ok?

That sounds fine, like everything really all in moderation and that will be ok

Just be careful if you have any ned who is prone to laminitis as carrots can be a trigger.

My horse love sunday dinner..they get all the peeling's carrots,swede,parsnip,cabbage...infact they get all giddy when they see the carrierbag
