Can somebody please remind me why I like/have horses?? ATM I am skint..bad back...knackered....smelling like horse shi*e...for what reason why why why...

Apart from there little faces over the stable door in the morning and the foal has started whinneying when he see's me

still doesnt excuse him digging up the DEEP LITTERED bed overnight

and I mean excavation at its best...

Yep I thats the main thing SPRING is on its way

then I will be able to wean off baby and at least start riding again

ha ha ha ha!!! I love your post!!! Especially the bit about the deep litter excavation!! I deep litter mine, so I feel your pain!!! And yes the winter is a long slogg, but there is a light at the tunnel, firstly the clocks change next month, and then spring SHOULD be just around the corner!!

This is the only answer I have ever come up with. My father keeps moaning that I have too many ponies, and to a certain degree i guess he is right, I have 3 shetties that are rescues and will never get rid of plus another 3 that are my show ponies and I have my big lad to ride. Might have more money to spend on self if ididnt have so many but do think life would be so boring without the neds.
