have you tried your local tack shop for the shires ones i paid 16pound for mine and is very good quality not crap leather - i bought about 5 as they were cheap
On ebay they sell Rhinegold bridles which you can get from £10 - £40 - i've had two (one for each horse)and they have both lasted really well, look nice and seem comfy for the horse. They have other new bridles on there starting at .99p so it may be worth a look.
Or try robinsons? they have their own brand bridles which are cheap but good quality - my friend has one and it seems really nice.

gfs bridles are in your budget and i think the quality is actually rather good for the money, they last, i have several for everyday use and they always scrub up well, i use mine to hunt to so like them to look smart enough at the meet!
ive got a Collegiate for Marley and i love it, soft good quality leather, really nice. it was £69.99 but that was from the barn shop and im sure you know they tend to be more expesive than most. but i can highly recommend them
Both my girls have Heritage bridles (one cavesson, one flash) and I've found them to be fantastic. They are very flexible from the start and seem to be good and hardwearing.
I have a robinsons hunter bridle on Pickle , it is actually quite nice I was pleasantly surprised. I quite like my kincade one as well. I also have a gallop bridle but it is pretty bad quality !!
Kincade are definately variable - I almost gnawed my limbs off with frustration trying to undo the hook studs & change the bit on my stepmother's horse.
I bought an almost-new Sabre bridle for £30 on ebay, and it's definately worth prowling for good-quality second hand.
I really like the kincade ones that cost around £30. I had the one with gold brass buckles for my old cob and it looked really smart and was always very soft and easy to look after.

I rode a horse with this bridle on the other day, and it was lush!
You can get them cheaper than this, but have to pack so can't find one atm, sorry!

I have one of these which I got for the gelding I first bought but he wasnt right for me so I got a mare instead but it doesnt fit her. I'd be willing to sell it. Only used a couple times and I bought it for about £75 so would be willing to sell it for £55 if anyone is interested PM me. Very nice bridle.
