Absolutely ridiculous!
Pammy Hutton is on one about it!

I really cant see any real risk using an indoor but I guess then there will be people saying well playing tennis or such like indoors is the same. Shame they didn't mention it before now so venues could plan. Let's just hope someone sees sense!

It depends how many people are in the indoor and what type of indoor, regarding the risk level.

A completely closed indoor arena (solid walls, closed (or very small) doors, and roof is an indoor. It is not an "outdoor structure" or whatever the term is. If it is one with half walls and a roof, that's not an indoor to me, it's a covered school and way less of a risk.

We had rules like no more than x amount of riders in an indoor of x size. I thought that was fair, and don't doddle around side by side and chat.

But most indoor arena walls aren't solid they are ventilated all the way round (wooden slats offset, there will be a proper name :p) , well IME here anyway and that was definitely the point made last time round re. actual risk.
Indoor tennis tends to have actual walls.

it's like yorkshire boarding on the indoor I use.

Although well ventilated it doesn't let the weather in like some do, but i think that's more about the way it's situated. Pammy had photos of her indoor full of snow I think.

I agree it's the lack of prior warning that's a problem.
