I cant beleive the difference in my horse since he has moved in to individual turnout
not even ridable at the moment. Hes has turned from a confident, brave, polite, sweet (could go on) horse to a scardy jumpy skittish bolshy bag of nerves.
Poor boy . i feel like i betrayed him by moving him there bless him. moving him back to old yard next week where he can be back with his mates. Can not wait to get my horse back to his old self.
I am kicking my self for moving him there against my better judgement, he has always enjoyed playing and socialising in the field but i had no idea that it would effect his character that much at all.
Well trying to make it up to him anyway by moving him back to his mates! cant moan myself anyway, it has amazing hacking, lovely stables, a nice school and the most helpful (but not interferring) yard owners around. plus they dont take liveries on so just me and an old friend there and then all the YO's horses.
Things are really looking up!!!
(BTW the post is not to slate people that keep their horses on individual turnout, it just doesnt suit my boy thats all.)
