Can a 2010 1.6 litre turbo diesel Mazda 3 pull a horsebox with a 14.3hh pony??
I would hazard a guess and say no! A Mazda 3 is a pretty small car surely - I cannot see that would be capable of pulling much at all.
It's not showing up under any of these

Manufacturers make the towing capacity based on a weight to power ratioI also think you'd be short of power.
For a few vehicles there will always be a safety concern when the trailer is heavier than the weight of the vehicle but that shuld not be applied across the board because most modern vehicles are designed to tow trailers that are heavier than the vehicleI stand by what I said, I believe that there will be a severe shortage of power & think that it may well end up with a case of the tail wagging the dog if they went out towing.

The pony is around 450kg and i don't have a trailer yet because i'm not sure if the car can pull it.![]()
