"Caution - young horse/ horse in training" hi-vis

Can you get a Hi Viz eventing bib?

I am about to experiment with this. My idea is a piece of cardboard the right size to fit inside the bib, cover the card with an old high vis vest or exercise rug, stick in the L plates and put inside the bib like a number, will wear a long sleeve high vis jacket under the bib. Not sure if it will work, nothing I ever tried to make as a child that I saw on Blue Peter did, so I dont hold out much hope:rolleyes:

Paddy do you have a web address or link where we can get the " horses die cars dent sticker from ?

Many thanks

I have a 4 yo NF I am about to back after years of walking out in hand on the roads hence searching on the young horse tabard thread. I still feel I need L plates but when I drew them on a tabard when I was backing my mare they ran in the rain so need a rethink - any suggestions? I didn't think permanent markers would run.... but they did :(

i have just bought mine of ebay!

its all well and good asking then to slow down or pass with caution but reality is as i have found out from my partner and his friends assumptions that a big horses is older, and little horses are babies...not helpful considering big horses can be babies and all are at some point in their lives lol!

plus i like to make sure all know that my baby is a baby, and if they dare say hes not under control i have something to bite at them, stating they have been warned im in high vis he is young, how ever he is under control but babies faf about at the dragons in the bush, or god for bid a plastic bag, or killer pidgeons! :D

Mind all i seem to do is argue with people when out riding/driving as one of the kids down the lane seems to think a single track road although a national limit, in his eyes its 60 and only 60 not drive to the condition of the road hence it is now a ralley track!
