I have only had Charlie for 3 weeks, well, 3 weeks as of tomorrow night, lol. I honestly cant believe it has been such a short time and yet he already feels like my buddy, like we 'click'.:D It took me sooo long to find the right horse, I was on the verge of giving up,I really was.... it had been such a hard decision to sell my last lad back in Jan as we had got to the stage where my dreams were bigger than his and i needed something a little bigger as well (he was 14.3hh and quite fine, Charlie is 15.2hh). Id have loved to keep him and get a 2nd horse but it just wasnt an option. :(:o I had been looking since last November... on the way I bought a youngster that it didnt work out with, had 1 fail the vetting, saw numerous others and nothing felt right. Well thank goodness for Charlie, he has the potential to take me on to where I want to be but is so honest and is restoring the confidence I lost since selling Blue. Problem I have now is that I have lost all my riding fitness, lol lower leg has gone to pot and I feel a little all over the place at times... but its getting there:)

Awww he's lovely, glad you have found your perfect horse! Hope you have many happy years together :)
 
Ah, it's cos he's a dun - you can't go wrong with a dun! I am on the hunt for another one as, since I've had (and still have) a dun, nothing else will do! Lol
 
thank you:D plan is for him to be my best buddy and soulmate for ever and ever and ever:D:o lol, well as i said am taking things slowly.. but end aim is to BE but its going to take a while to get to where i was with my last horse i think. No hurry though, he's only just turned 7:)
 
He is gorgeous, well done in finding him, i was in the same situation - i just couldn't find 'the one' and nearly gave up, then Bella just randomly came along tbh haha.
I love him :D He's such a lovely colour :)

I'm so happy for you, what a lovely partnership. I waited nearly 2years for my girl and I still love her to peices x
 
He is absolutaly gorgeous, well done for having the patience till you found the right one, I hope you have years of lots of love fun and good times together:);)
