Cheapo Neoprene Wellies - with a bit of lateral thinking!

One question - are hunter wellies wide-ish? I am not asking this because I need an extra wide merkin (or two, or two extra wide sewn together) I swear that's not why I am asking... but because I tried some 'town and country' wellies the other day that were a bit too snug which is upsetting!

They're not terribly wide, no - I had to get the balmoral ones with the slit and I'm not terribly chunky (that's how I know the neoprene ones are good!)- there should be measurements on the proper Hunter website.

How are they for size: do they come up large or small, or even true to size? One of the reviews says they needed a size larger than their normal size.
Thanks fot the tip, in any case :)

Well, mine arrived today. Very, very pleased with them......the mohair is just stitched along inside top of the welly and the cuff is just folded down over. So just needs cutting off, and hey presto...normal wellies!!!

Mine arrived too - I put some pictures up, guess I'd better link them to this thread! Here we go: clicky clicky

I'm rather liking the fluff on them though:D

Mine arrived today as well.
The fluff has one row of stitching so I unpicked it ;).
I'd say they come up true to size foot wise and are fairly snug on the leg.

Very pleased with them :D

Thank you Dee O'Dorant for sharing the link.

Mine arrived today as well :D decided I couldn't wait any longer as my toes were freezing! I also got mum a pair for her birthday, she thinks she's going to leave the fluff on until it becomes manky I'm going to take it off mine I think.

Min eturned up today and also really please with them. I've decided to leave the fur on but tuck it inside ...that way you can wear them both ways and not worry about the lining coming away.

I've bought the short bitter chocolate ones as my lace up hunters have given up the ghost after 5 years, I am really excited, hope that they fit round my enormous calves!
