I’m not sure if ‘no budget’ is better or worse than those with very low/ unrealistic budgets? Both pretty challenging to work with!
 
I wouldn't personally ever sell (or buy) a horse via a 'payment plan', and would never get into an arrangement like that with a complete stranger 😲

Mind you, I once ended up with a very good horse as the result of a payment plan gone wrong. The seller's friend managed to convince her to sell the horse to her via a 12 month payment plan. Month 2 she payed less than agreed, and month 3 she defaulted. After threats of court the seller collected the horse and gave back the money she had had so far (less than 10% of the value of the horse over the 5 months the 'buyer' ended up having it for). I spotted the ad the day the seller got the horse back and put it up online- I hadn't been looking six months earlier so even if he'd been on the open market I wouldn't have seen him :)
 
Another show transport one...
Anyone going to xxxx show sunday, I will need picking up at 08.30 from xxxx as my first class is at 10.00 then I want to do the trek after lunch, I haven't the money to pay a professional to hang aroun all day so ideally someone going to the same show would be good, you will have to allow my horse some extra time to load though as they can sometimes be a bit stubborn!"

Someone must want to give their time and transport for free - Not!!!
 
Online pony training course for kids - advertised through videos on Fb of children handling ponies without a hat or gloves, including a gentle sort of lunging with a rope that isn’t long enough and a circle so small it can’t be good for the pony’s joints. Stopping pony by throwing hands up in the air…

I’m not a massive fan of the BHS system but at least it teaches personal safety and correct ways of doing things. I’ve seen grown adults knocked flat by a startled pony, let alone children. This course is online - so anyone, anywhere, with any pony could join. Surely they should be advocating basic safety equipment for the children who follow the course?
 
Latest good ‘un on local horsey FB page. Looking for someone to pay to groom and do yard chores on a retired horse who can’t be ridden 🙄. What planet are these people on?

****** is a gentle and sweet old man who’s looking for someone to come give him some extra love and attention as he loves a good fuss ****** is very easy going and kind he doesn’t mind kids in fact he has a little 7 month old human that he adores!

Unfortunately due to age and medical issues he can no longer be ridden but is just wasted out in a field so he is seeking a special human that might not be interested in riding but would like to spend some time grooming , mucking out, etc.

Lightweight rider wanted for small cob. Not suitable for novice as just being ridden away. Lots of fun summer riding pre-sale. Photos and videos of cob being led from another horse, not a one with a rider on it. So not backed yet! Would be fine if they wanted a pro to help but the way the ad is written they want a sharer to back pony for free so they can sell it on.

Omg vaulting is terrifying I used to work on a yard that had 2 horses and a team and as much as it was lovely to watch, it looked bloody scary at times I have had a small go at it and I have a massive admiration for those that do it😂

You have to be so strong and fit its gymnastics on horseback I'm far too old for that now 😂
