This, we really do need a scratching head emoji. And in English that says???
That's a bit rude Amymay. And in English that says???
Thanks for the translation. That's a bit rude Amymay.
I believe it says "I take it you're talking about travellers. I am not one but I know a few and there's a few horses on here that look like they need a bullet compared to theirs".
Also slightly rude, but there we go.
Pretty sure you CAN report to welfare charities anonymously??A rather sad post ….
The yo would be guilty of neglect in addition to the owner.Pretty sure you CAN report to welfare charities anonymously??
If the YO kicks off at people reporting clear neglect, they need reporting as well!
Yep.In the eyes of the law yo is culpable too? I didn't know that thank you
I am guessing there is a genuine fear of repercussions here. Not least that you'd be kicked off the yard, maybe your own horses harmed. I can understand not knowing what to do if you are seemingly the only person out of 60 liveries who WANTS to do something. The culture on that yard must be disgusting.Yes, let's just look at it and not do anything![]()
Oh yes, I can absolutely understand all of that.I am guessing there is a genuine fear of repercussions here. Not least that you'd be kicked off the yard, maybe your own horses harmed. I commented that I was shocked that it would have had taken her longer to write the post than pick up the phone and post anonymously. And no horse should be standing in so much shit that its head was touching the ceiling. The OP said she couldn’t as had mental health issues and was disabled ! And the yard owner would physically harm her horses. It all kicked off and I think it’s now been taken down. But someone must know where this place is ? Poor horse.Yes, let's just look at it and not do anything![]()
Yes and it's bugging me too!Does anyone follow the well known cob dealer? What's with the constant screenshotting comments they don't agree with and resharing them, ridiculing the person who poster it and encouraging followers to pile on. Noticed they've also taken to responding to comments they don't like with "f**k off". Makes me cringe, so unprofessional looking.
I’m starting to suspect that I know this place, or at least a very similar place, is part of it also run as an RS? They would definitely hurt your horses if you did something like pipe up about the situation.I commented that I was shocked that it would have had taken her longer to write the post than pick up the phone and post anonymously. Is that Trinas Cobs?Yes and it's bugging me too!
It's too easy to get baited into making a show of yourself.
I’m on the fence with the cob dealer. It must be irritating dealing with shitty comments from strangers all day. When they first started replying and screenshotting I thought fair enoughit seems to be daily now though and it’s getting boring. I follow them for horse videos, I don’t actually care about them arguing and trying to be funny.
I think they have realised that engaging with negative comments gets them lots of views and followers which helps them make money from the page.
It’s a shame because it will put a lot of people off buying from them and I think they actually are decent dealers.
Jeez. A supposed livery yard calling a stable a “hutch” and starting an argument, with a supposedly professional dealer who has responded in kind by swearing. Nobody looks good there.
Just builds up a stereotype of horsey people being unprofessional and rude.
The trouble is not the £500 deposit or even the op, but all the care afterwards is very expensive. How are they going to afford 10-12k for it all?I didn’t give any thought to how I was going to pay for even a deposit should my horse need colic surgery so now I’m just going to ask all of facebook, not say my friends View attachment 166001
