Cheeky/ridiculous posts you see on Facebook.

Where on FB is this posted?
It was on a dodgy dealer page, I think she's taken it down now. She wasn't getting a lot of sympathy, especially due to her belief that she didn't have to provide the pony with veterinary care if it might not be able to do the job she'd bought it for. TBH the breeder should have done the right thing with a low value injured colt rather than passing on foc to a dodgy dealer.

Seen on a local group - "my daughter has been riding for 5 weeks and can do sitting and rise and trot, just wondering if anyone had a horse they wanted exercising"
Needless to say, the comments weren't particularly favourable (also that it is 'rising' trot not 'ride and'!)

Two today 🫣

Lame pony. Done a tendon. Twenty years old. For loan or sale.

Blind pony mare. £1000.

I just cannot with these people.
Aw don't, where is the blind pony advertised? I'm a couple of glasses of wine down and I can't bear that. Although I guess it would be crueller for me to rehome her to somewhere unfamiliar.

This one is sad and quite distressing tbh. I've never seen the page before, it just popped up in my feed. I'm so glad there's people that do this but it's so sad it's needed, the poor horse.

I don't know if it's the algorithm showing me this stuff because I lost my pony recently, but I keep seeing posts popping up from strangers (with their privacy status set to "public") sharing photos of their horses/ dogs after they've passed or whilst they're being PTS. Often with heartbroken family members kissing and hugging them goodbye.

The last thing I wanted as I said goodbye to my best friend is somebody artfully taking shots from various angles. And I certainly wouldn't share them to the whole world for what... Likes?? Thumbs ups??? 😢😢's???

Is it unreasonable that I don't want to see dead pets on my feed? What's next? Grandma? Your kids?

Anybody know what the hell this is trying to say? It’s in a “find my horse” group.

“I had lady till me two don’t look for your horse it’s not up to you tall me Iam still looking thank you”
I assume:

I had a lady tell me to “not look for your horse”. It’s not up to you to tell me.

Makes you wonder what the back story is?

I am seeing a lot of this sort of thing too but I haven't recently lost a pet. I have however just attended a funeral of a very close friend and currently have her dog which I have had to consider PTS on behavioural grounds and both my sister and I have old fragile dogs so it is a very sensitive subject for me too. Spent a lot of Christmas on the edge of tears, all seems to be sadness.

I'm really sorry for the loss of your friend and for your lovely dogs. I watched the Christmas Gone Fishing last night - poor little Ted and his milky eyes had me in floods.
Sending thoughts and solidarity xxx

Not cheeky or ridiculous but this one did make me chuckle
(Also, FB keeps showing me stuff from towns that are nowhere near me. Usually I wonder why I need to know that a car is badly parked in Devon but I'll forgive it today for this one)

When it was goats the neighbours called me and I had to learn quickly how to wrestle a goat! They got the better of me, but luckily the bin men pulled up, blocked the street with their van and helped me manhandle them back home 😂 😂

I keep getting random FB stuff too like badly parked cars or ‘where’s my Evri parcel’ from towns I’ve never heard of.
Problem is once you linger over one, it sends you more so I need to make a conscious effort to quickly scroll past them.
