Looking forward to the third day, can’t believe we are already half way through. The first two days have been excellent, lots of good stories from the big races. I’m getting worried about the going though, is anyone there and can give us an up to date opinion on how bad the going is ?

It sounds ok, soft, good to soft in places.
Stage Star in the first is my original owners group horse. So please all cheer him on.
I didn’t get to see it yesterday, bar the CC on my phone. Today I’ll be watching the Turners in Freeport car park. If he wins I’ll probably get committed 😄

I won't see much of Cheltenham today as I am off to the hell hole that is Hexham with 2 horses running just before 4pm. Shoot me now.
Chin up, it could be worse. I'm leaving Cheltenham tonight to go to Uttoxeter with one. That will be quite some contrast! 😱. Two days there with just one horse to do.

I think the wettest I have ever been was at Uttoxeter Wasn’t even there for racing but a horse show in June. No idea what it’s like there as so wet couldn’t see more than a few feet 😂

Trust me I would far, far rather go to Uttoxeter for 2 days than spend half an hour at Hexham! I despise the place. At least at Tox you can nip off to Alton Towers if you get bored! We were going to have a runner there but the ground is too soft for him now so we will just be at Newcastle on Saturday.

When a jockey picks up a suspension for careless riding how many days later does that start?? Harry Cobden picked up 4 day suspension to add to the 4 days he has got for whip offences. I have much to learn about NH racing!!

Wooo! Well done! Another forum winner! And another one on the board for Team GB!

Delighted that Laura's horse was 2nd! You couldn't find a nicer, harder working person in racing!

Can you still buy shares in stage star?

Only when he’s up for renewal and that then depends on whether any shares have been relinquished.

For the likes of him, there are very few relinquished shares and it’s like the wacky races trying to get a share before they’re gone (website often crashes on these days too, just to make it all the harder) and the shares are usually gone lightning quick the same morning.

Do you know how many people have shares in him ?

I didn't think Shishkin looked at the races in the paddock and am not surprised he didn't win.

I picked Gold Tweet out when he came to Cheltenham before and wish him well today - would make a change from all the Irish winners....

I'm not sure Shishkin still has the heart for it. He really showed how tough he was towards the finish line but the rest of the race you felt he would be happy to be pulled up and taken back to his stable.

I know he won last time but it feels like they're trying to persist with him when he'd maybe rather be doing another job - a bone condition sounds quite serious and I know he will have been checked by vets but...
