The speed always forces errorsI don't remember seeing so many jumping errors in the Queen Mum!
No, they were going so fast! The grounds fast as well I suppose.I don't remember seeing so many jumping errors in the Queen Mum!
A good horse is a good horse is a good horse! He's another HdeB one that would make a cracking eventer looking at him. Gorgeous and love the foal photos.
Watching him jump fences not sure he'd make an eventer but he'd be fab in ROR classes. He was with Gordon Elliot before HenryHe's another HdeB one that would make a cracking eventer looking at him. Gorgeous and love the foal photos.
Why is that?I do always wonder quite how good the pro Irish (jump!) jockeys are in bumpers. The Irish amateurs ride in them all the time, as do the English pros. But the Irish pros pretty much only ride in one a year - at Cheltenham.
In Ireland bumpers are restricted to amateurs. It's one of the reasons Patrick never turned pro. Probably Jodie too.Why is that?
Not bumpers but generally I think Irish jockeys have a better grasp of tactics as they are used to big fields.
Oh, interesting, never knew that.In Ireland bumpers are restricted to amateurs. It's one of the reasons Patrick never turned pro. Probably Jodie too.
But i agree with you in general on the tactics.
I missed it too. Devastating. I was so hoping for a safe festival this year![]()
And wasn't Quilixios amazing, as everIt would make my week to see good old Bob Olinger win tomorrow! Rachael said this morning he's the one horse she'd come out of retirement for, and I concur!
What’s going on with this Declan Queally/Nico de Boinville spat? I haven’t seen anything other than what I’ve read. Personally I’ve always felt NdB has a personality I wouldn’t want to come up against - in every interview he seems antsy.
