A Kodak moment ;-) Armas has such a hard life napping under 200 year old tree. Any one else's horses chilling in the sun today ? Lets see them :)

He's such a poser.

Or did you set that up, the tree, the sunlight, the grass ect.?

Caught the older pony in our field lying down in the sun the other day................ a few feet from the dung heap.:D

Not quite the same.

D'aww.

How come the little guy is always tied up?

The boys have a new large paddock which they spends most of there time in. However the sun was out and I like watching the boys from my window as I work. The spot where Hersus is tethered has some very long meadow grass that needed eating.
Hersus is almost impossible to catch thus I need to be able to keep him safely confined.

Babies are liking the sunshine here, but chilling isn't a strong suit (much to their mothers' disdain)

Just to get in the spirit of things :):

First photo was taken about a month ago when she was still in her winter woollies. The other 2 were taken today. She scrubs up well for 23!

I think your horse looks tired...........and lean from your other posts. He needs grass and not a mown area to graze on but a proper field. Nice 200 yr old tree though.

Lovely pics Armas, it looks glorious there and what a view to be looking at whilst working!

You seem to have 'erased' the line on the little one though - hopefully not because of any comments you might get on here

Thank you Polar Skye and Cortez, she's a very special horse to us. Off topic, but as the weather has been so wet here a fox chewed through the coop door and killed that rooster and his two hens :(. They were 'retirees' quite the characters and I always like to give my good egg layers the rest of their life just mooching around.
