My usual very good, very loved back man is also very popular and very busy - can't get to me for 2 weeks.

Can anyone recommend another very good chiro/osteo back person in the glos area who would be able to get to me sooner?!

I have rung one and left a message....but in case he can't come out either, any recommendations gratefully received.

You should be able to google his number, but if not then I have it here...

ETS: Does this mean that things aren't going smoothly, even after his holiday?

Bounty the delightful Sam who is one of my fave people in the world is the one who is far too popular and frantically busy!

It is! Sam is brilliant, though I like him more now I see more of him eventing than I do out to my horse - at one point he was out to my old mare weekly!

Things are not quite wrong and not quite right - behaviour is 'off' but vet visited yesterday and was as baffled as me. First stop chiro, then if no improvement it will be 2 weeks of bute. Then if still no improvement we are looking at poss kissing spines and x-rays of the spinal processes etc, though I hope it will not come to that. As the vet said - I'd pass him in a competition trot up with no worries as it is almost imperceptible difference. But I know it is there.....

Apart from Sam I use Jonathon Gibbins, who is based in Malvern. Probably no good either though, as he is VERY busy (I started using Sam as his waiting times were actually less than Jonathon's!

Seriously - at one point he said he was going to call his next horse 'Spottedcat's Investment' because he was out to my horse so often....my bank balance did not like it much - so not what you were thinking AT ALL mr!!

LPR - can you PM it to me please? I am compiling a list of recommended people and come hell or high water I will get someone this week! (she says hopefully!)

Oh dear!

Sorry to hear that he is not quite right. If its any consolation I seriously doubt that he has kissing spine. Hope that it is just a tweak somewhere!!

Maggie Turner - she is FANTASTIC! I think you'll get her number from the ACPAT website - if not PM me and I'll dig it out. She's based North Cots near Stow on the Wold, but is generally very booked up also.

Otherwise Anna Davison, from Tetbury is very good and thorough.

Thanks everyone - I have someone highly recommended coming out on Saturday, which will hopefully save me missing a lot of pre-booked and pre-paid for clinics!

I agree Annette Penny is a miracle worker. She travels up to midlands every 2 weeks (based in devon) as she uses a saddler near us. Worked magic with a neurotic TB but do as she says - whether you think its right or not - as it works.
