Christmas ride anyone?

Had a joyous afternoon with my fave today!

Had my last rides before Christmas, I get a day off riding tomorrow and Christmas

Dunno about what's happening on boxing day though but one of my favourites I rode today and he gave me such a good ride, he responded to my legs and I kept my distanced correct for most of it

Am afraid don't have any pics but can't wait to see other people's pics I think the horses here would murder us if we put antlers or tinsel on em

Supposed to be tomorrow but not if we get the forecast 50mph winds Was going to ride today after he’d been trimmed but he was in a foul mood because his friend came on for a fuss & went back out & I dared to not put him back out because he was waiting to be trimmed… Decided that this was not an ideal frame of mind for him to be in to hack out alone when I only got back on him last week, haven’t hacked out ridden for months due to him coming back from lameness and it being blooming windy. May try for some post Xmas, pre New Yr riding instead!

We've managed a Christmas Eve Eve & Christmas Eve hack.

Planning to ride tomorrow and Boxing Day. To be honest, I'm planning to hack most days I'm off - it'll just make a nice change going out for longer & in the daylight rather than before work by torch light

No photos but pensioner pony and I went out for a very soggy pootle with another livery this morning at half past eight. It has rained all day here so ponies have all had an early night and we've all went home for our Xmas celebrations

Christmas day ride was my favourite part of the day, one day when my kids are up and out and ai have a riding horse again, lots to look forward to!

The weather was comparatively lovely today - and I worked out there would be no articulated lorry’s or huge tractors about so we did some adventuring today,

We ha comparatively good weather today too so OH and I headed out for a hack. Nothing too ambitious but nice to get out and stretch our legs. Got a longer ride planned for tomorrow.
