I'm afraid it doesnt look very Christmassy, but I did ride this morning, and we did squelch around and get home before it started to rain, so win, win! My other horse and I played in the school working on our bridleless riding with just a neck rope, its gong well.

Late to the party... I rode on Xmas Day evening and I got a very wet bum as my saddle was wet before I could even get on. Just the usual traipse around the arena on Trev who is nearly 20 now (Thor got another abscess for xmas so is off games) & takes a very dim view of being made to work in the rain. One of my dressage letters had blown off the fence & was lying about two feet outside the arena & because he was cross about the rain, Trev decided it was the most frightening thing he'd ever seen & got the full on snorts, high speed reverse etc & then jumped out of his skin at precisely nothing. So our 20 mins was mostly spent on a circle at the top end of the school trying to edge closer & closer to the demon H until he got over himself. FGS Trev, you're nearly 20!
