Well as I've said on the other thread, the dogs don't know when xmas is to they could be sent after xmas, and even preiodically through the year
Does anyone know if this is real? The info was posted on another forum, and has now been amended to say it is a scam and there is no soldier of the name given.
Without a name and number the parcels won't be delivered (and apart from the odd numpty member of staff the Post Office won't accept them to begin with). They have to be addressed to named service personnel. Any without a return address are also very likely to be rejected. Anything ending in 'Afghanistan' is also very likely to wind up in the civilian postal system instead, as mentioned on the BFPO website.
It's a lovely idea but I think very flawed, the bloke's name and number shouldn't be splashed about the place like that, it seems to have gone a bit viral
