I've been a bit silly. I was given some beautiful leather boots for Christmas which I love riding in, but i'm often pushed for time, so I ride, then brush, rug and turn out my pony and am ankle deep in mud as we enter her field. I always rinse the boots within a few minutes, but after a few weeks they are now starting to smell pretty grim!
I have some leather conditioner, but dont want to use that on them if its going to "seal" the smell in. What can I use to give them a good wash before conditioning them?
How do you keep your leather boots clean (they are sort of a brushed leather in places, and textured in others: https://www.google.co.uk/#q=dublin+pinnacle+boots&tbm=shop).
