lol I’ve worked for plenty of British people who turn up, get on fully prepared horse that’s presented to them and then hand it back to the groom and leave once they’ve finished riding. Hell one woman I even had to warm her horse up for her. She did walk it off whilst checking her phone/take selfies.
She definitely would have loved that jacket

My OH did that. And me too, up to a point. Even as a teenager, I never had strong arms. I have never been able to lift a saddle onto the back of the horse. Luckilly there has always been someone around, either staff or a livery who will do it for me. No one minds. If one can ride out alone, that saves the yard the cost of providing a second horse and an escort
