[/ QUOTE ]

[ QUOTE ]
I've been waiting and waiting for these; about time missus!
grin.gif

He's looking fabulous and doesn't he know it! I can understand your reasoning too; he did you well proud.

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL - you are an impatient one
tongue.gif
I was too tired on Weds night and too busy yesterday day to post them - plus it took and AGE to upload onto photobucket!

Considering how little he is actually fed and the amount of grass in his paddock, he does look well. That's not to say I want him on more grass either!!

He was just such a star! His behaviour was exemplary! Esp for a 3yo with a bit about him!

[ QUOTE ]
Thanks for the text - but to see Photo's......yippee !!

He's looking wonderful. You should be very pround of yourself.

[/ QUOTE ]

Thank you hun and I'm not proud of me - what did I do? I am proud of him though!!

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ]
He is a real looker - well done! How is he bred?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'll answer as SN seemed to have disappeared for the night......
He's by Kings Composer (Souza) & out of a Sportsnight mare.

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL - I was attempting that thing called sleep! I missed this post and have also answered
grin.gif
Thank you though for filling in, in my absence LOL!

[ QUOTE ]
Lovely looking horse - well done. Agree about the noseband though - but isn't it great when you just get pernickety about the noseband!!! He looks so happy and cheerful to be out and about - can't believe how little practice you have had with him.

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL FMM!! Indeed - you can pick away at his tack all you like
grin.gif
Though I do agree! He is a very happy pony - always pleased to see you and always pleased to go off for a walk and explore etc.... I know what you mean re. the practice! I was in 2 minds as to whether or not to take him and had I had to show him myself, or even just drive up there and have someone else show him, then I would not have gone, as getting him ready really bloody hurt!! He just takes it all in his stride - yes he had a bounce on the lunge, but that's what lunging a baby is for eh!

[ QUOTE ]
He looks really well- congrats on the fab result!!
smile.gif

[/ QUOTE ]

Thanks J!! I am over the moon with him!

[ QUOTE ]
Well Done
Weren't the rosettes massive!!

[/ QUOTE ]

Thanks. LOL the rose part always is as RN, but the tails are quite short.

[ QUOTE ]
Well done, i understand how proud you feel, watching them grow and perform when they're you're own is so special. Looks really lovely in the photos

[/ QUOTE ]

Thank you hun! It is wonderful to watch them develop and I am glad I have kept him for so long, but I do have to sell him. He's far too good for me. I have no need for such an athlete and he would be completely wasted on me.

[ QUOTE ]
lovely, what a cracking stamp of a horse, you should be really proud.

[/ QUOTE ]

Thank you!! I am very proud of him! I also cannot believe that I bred such a beast LOL!

[ QUOTE ]
Fantastic!!
grin.gif
He has grown up sooo much - an even more handsome chap than he was as a baby!
grin.gif
cool.gif
Really well done!

[/ QUOTE ]

Thank you hun!! I'm looking forward to the pro pics - there might actually be one where he looks more like he does in RL LOL!

That was the strange thing about the draught year, '76 wasn't it? There was nothing but dried stalks, all burnt up but the horses and cattle looked amazingly well, sleek, very shiny and toned; think it might have been something to do with they had to keep on the move to find anything so hadn't the fat deposits as normal but I always remember how well everything looked.

*whistles innocently* Ahem, a little before my time
tongue.gif
My parents got married that year though.......

my pc won't let me on there today for some reason - says address not recognised! Was working yesterday. I reckon I've been banned.....

[ QUOTE ]
Lovely short cannons and a great shoulder, no wonder you are pleased. Noseband didn't do him any favours though in my opinion - sorry

.

[/ QUOTE ]

Agree, lovely horse, well done. Agree with the bridle issue, I take it it was a hunter class, would like to see a thicker noseband and a plain browband.

[/ QUOTE ]

Absolutely NOT a hunter! Sportshorse! He's never been entered in Hunter Classes as a) I refuse to cross enter and b) I refuse to feed him to the hilt. His aim in life is not to be a show horse, but a competition horse. Do you honestly think I would present a hunter in anything but a plain bridle? Sportshorses can have bling and he's always been shown in that browband. Anyway, it was his last show, so irrelevant.

[ QUOTE ]
He looks fantastic, well done
grin.gif

[/ QUOTE ]

Thank you sweetie - I can't wait for the pro pics. I still haven't mastered my new camera LOL!

[ QUOTE ]
Well done SN, terrific, he looked the d's b's.

[/ QUOTE ]

Thank you again hun! Was great to see you again - can you please clarify that his head looked better in RL in that ruddy bridle than is shown in the pictures!

[ QUOTE ]
Yep, that was her, and here is a pic of her at the Futurity last year where she got Elite.Hope the foal is as nice as yours.

[/ QUOTE ]

Goodness I just read that back - how conceited of me! I blame the tears
blush.gif
I meant to say, thank you ecer so much for saying that about my boy!

Speaking from a particularly novice and undoubtedly stupid viewpoint here, but since when did showing classes become more about accentuating tack than the horse under it?
Obviously I agree with correct turnout but a good horse is a good horse, no matter what bridle its got on.
*runs away*
Cracking horse SN, I can't imagine how gorgeous he's going to be ina few more years
grin.gif

Did i not say how nice he was! Only trying to offer advise and sports horses are supposed to have white browbands. But hey ho.
