Clipcloppop's Raff: Update

CCP has asked me to update you on Raff as she cant get HHO on her mobile to update herself, and to add insult to injury, her home intermawebby is bjorked too.
Raff has a spiral fracture which is too high up his leg to cast.
Vet thinks 6 weeks of being cross tied followed by a further 12 weeks of boxrest should heal it......provided he doesnt twist it during the healing process.
He is being Xrayed again tomorrow, so hopefully it will show a break that is not too bad.

My horse had a spiral fracture 3 years ago now, when he did his it was touch and go whether he was PTS or not as it was quite bad. Well i can tell you he running around in my field today, trying to kick me may i add. The leg has healed fine and we do every thing on him that we did before. The vet that see him when he did it came to to do my horses boosters the other day, he went to look at his legs and he could even tell which leg it was.

Hope all goes well with her horse but i thought i would tell you about my boy just so she knows there is hope at the end of the tunnel, which may not seem very bright at the moment.
