Closing down an account on H&H forum

You need to email Admin. You can't delete your account though, the simplest thing is to just stop using it.
 
Ok thanks, have already emailed them, just wondered if there was something I could do until they got back to me.
 
You could post something really inflammatory and very naughty to earn yourself a permanent ban!

Sorry that you feel the need to leave, I can guess what this relates to, all the same tis a shame to see a prolific poster go.
 
AFAIK the only thing you can do is log out and stay logged out. You can report individual posts and, should Admin agree that they break some rule or policy or other, they may be removed but the rest of your posting history will still remain.
 
As above advice really. I can understand why you don't want to continue on here at the moment but don't dwell on it too much. It's only a forum and all opinions, even genuine and knowledgeable ones are offered with a limited amount of knowledge on the whole story. You decide how much is reflection of your situation in RL. Listen to the good stuff, be honest with yourself and ignore the stuff that doesn't apply.
Your horse is lovely, BTW.

But fwiw, you've been on here long enough to know that if you post about taking a lame horse out competing buted up, then not ALL the comments will be delivering a pat on the back :rolleyes3:

Just stop posting and turn off your notifications. TFC will block you so your name comes up grey and people know you're gone. You can't erase your forum history - nothing on the internet ever really goes away!
 
I had an old account that i never closed but stopped using- just do that! (ages ago and i forgot the log in info and didnt have the same email so opened a new one)

What an attention seeking thread. A real 'please tell me you all love me and beg me to stay' one... first in ages. Sorry, but really, this poster is old enough not to act this way.

Admin did close my account when I asked as I needed a break (no time wasting)and wanted to be stopped from being tempted to post when I should have been doing other things!
 
useful for something obviously ;).

I'm never sure why this question gets posted rather than just liasing with admin tbh (to be honest :p )

I thought everyone who'd been on here as long as AC14 knew the three rules of HHO:

1. openly competing a buted animal won't win you a "most loved poster" award.

2. Accounts don't get deleted on request except in exceptional circumstances - just stop coming on here if it no longer pleases you to do so.

3. Flouncing posts about deleting accounts always end in tears...

just stop posting, people will forget about you and your posts amazingly quickly (no disrespect to you - that goes for most of us!) All you have done by posting this is draw more attention to your posts and attract more unwanted comments and that's only going to upset you more
