Mr cob is a senior citizen, he's in his 20s and has been diagnosed with cushings over the winter.
Out in the field today was the first time I've looked at him and thought "you look old".
It brought a tear to my eye (I'm soft) and I only hope I can do the very best for him, it has now dawned on me that he's in his twilight years.
He's taught me how to ride again. Taken advantage of me at times. Been completely unruly and tested my nerve. I've gained my confidence and learned how to sit to his various spooks and quirks. He's even managed to bring my OH to the cob side.
I guess what I'm trying to say is make every minute count, he's a lovely and lively old fella and I owe it to the old fella.
