I am very tempted by these but the price puts me off. Are they worth double and a bit the cost of an ordinary rasp? I do very little to mines feet as I rely on a good old council trim, ie road work to do most of it for me. But I find rasping majorly hard work when I do it. I tend to round things off with a radius rasp which keeps on top of it, but sometimes I do need to rasp properly and it leaves me a sweaty mess!

I personally wouldnt bother with the Cody fine for main wall trimming - having used the medium teeth rasp a fair few times now on all 4 feet i have found it to be aggressive enough without being too aggressive, and im getting used to using it on side walls now, although for a ‘finer’ finish i can use the shinto. But im not needing fine finishing really and not bothered by scratch marks on the mustang roll as my horses wear that smooth on the varying gravel / stone footing around the place in no time.
Im tempted to get their aggressive one for speedier results!

Postage is something that makes or breaks the cost of items. My last 2 standard good brand rasps from the uk came to £90 with shipping and the Cody is free shipping on prime so a bit cheaper, and the cody hasnt even started blunting yet so ill get more rasping out of one cody than 2 traditional rasps, and save a bit of money - but mostly save loads of time rasping, as im finding the cody much quicker, and would use that even if a standard rasp was a tenner!

If you are like me and only want to do tidying up, the Shinto is fine. I don't/can't do any serious work on feet as I can't hold them up long enough. The Shinto does all I need.
