Hey guys
My lovely horse went down with spasmatic colic (excuse bad spelling) I recognised the signs and called the vet!
He said I caught it early and he gave her buscapan and something else and he's hopeful that its fine! He took her off food for 24 hours. She has to stay out on the paddock as I don't have a stable again he says that's not a problem really.
I've been checking on her every hour she seems fine she stopped rolling lying down and is back to her actual moodie self 😂 earlier she was so cuddly which is most unlike her! What I want to no is... How often would you guys check on her I've been every hour checking temperature etc.
In terms of feeding when do I reintroduce it? No 24 hours shea on baileys low Cal balancer with a small amount of gut balancer she has a sensitive ummy ever since I rescued her a year ago (vet thinks gut damage from worms) shed worth every penny!!
Any advice on this colic what to do etc I would really appreciate as ive never felt with it before xx
