Colour - lovely example of a Wild Bay >>>>>>>>>>>

Faracat, sorry for delay with photos but I really am a numpty! I have managed to get two on my profile. The one when he is ridden shows him in the summer when he is an obvious bay with definite black points, the other was taken last week and shows his creamy nose. I haven't nanaged to get a photo of his feathers yet but as he still has his winter coat they are cream at the moment, also under his belly in the winter is cream.

I have found your album, but it doesn't have any photos in it. :( Are you willing to give it another go?

Well done - it worked. :D

I'm actually wondering if she's brown rather than bay. The pale nose on the head shot is what's making me wonder this. If she is brown, then she's quite a pale one, but they aren't always dark 'seal' brown and they are generally more obvious in their winter coats.

Thank you Faracat I have wondered if he would be classed as brown other than the fact he has definite black points in the summer. His winter coat is almost a chestnut colour with very pale under belly and lower legs. His mother is registered as chestnut and his sire is bay but one grand parent is palamino, not sure if that info helps at all.

Unfortunately he has now lost most of his winter coat so looks like the photo of him being ridden, a proper bay with black points it is only in the winter the cream shows. He is a very bright bay with dapples as he loses his winter coat and again when he starts to lose his summer coat.
