Have totally fallen in love with a coloured stock but don't know how acceptable they are? only ever see them worn with tweed but would like this one to go with black jacket, white jods etc for dressage. Horse is black and white, I wear black and white and thought a small flash of colour would look good - but am I getting away from the stuffy traditional too much and likely to see a dressage judge with smoke coming out of her ears lol:D

Sorry, coloured stocks are only for tweeds, looks like you will have to buy a tweed to match your stock :D

White/cream stocks with navy/black jackets, definately no coloured ones :)

As far as I'm aware coloured stocks only with Tweed, white or cream stocks with Black/Navy jackets!! suppose its etiquette(sp?) so depends on how you want to conform and what level you are competing at.

Ah ok, thought as much really, was just hoping I could get away with it but don't want to appear disrespectful. Only_me: I think thats exactly what I'll do, tweed jacket shopping here I come:D:D

where is said coloured stock because I like to wear my tweed and I can never find any. All I can find are horribly ornate, white embroidered ones. Not my cup of tea at all. I only wear navy to jump and then I don't wear a stock or a tie because apparently showjumpers don't!
