Comfy Reins

I have alwasy used plain old simple rubber reins but finding them a bit thick and are rubbing the inside of my fingers any suggestions of good reins.

I use half rubber ones, less bulky but still lots of grip!

I have rubber reins as they came with the bridle but I really do like the half rubber reins and the plaited ones.

I got some lovely 'gummy' rubber reins with my new bridle - rubber reins without the knobbly bits and thinner - sorry don't know what their proper name is!!!

We have the eventa reins, they are rubber but without leather in the middle, they are great.

My daughter says she won't use any others from now.

Jeffries do them but there are a few other manufacturers that now do them too!

I love laced reins over anything else.

Dressage reins (I believe they are called): leather with thin rubber on one side. Great grip, light and flexible

this may sound completely crazy, but my favorite reins in all the world are plain leather

as long as i wear good gloves when its wet, they don't slip.

I like continental reins the most. I use them to event in no problem, I find they give way more "feel" than rubber reins yet arent as slippy as plain leather ones.

Me also maltescat, and I never have problems with slipping. However, if you want some grip, then either half rubber or maybe webbing?
